During his internship at a law firm, Teo Verchere experienced firsthand how slow and inefficient legal research tools were. Lawyers relied on keyword searches and manual review of large volumes of irrelevant documents, while general-purpose AI tools carried serious risks of inaccuracies.
Teo identified the need for a reliable, law-specific use of artificial intelligence and called Luis Pérez to discuss the idea. They aligned on the vision and decided to start Alizé together.
The challenge was clear: building an accurate, law-specialised artificial intelligence.
